Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, FSBEI HPE East-Siberian state academy of culture and arts, Ministry of culture of the Republic of Buryatia, Ministry of education, and science of the Republic of Buryatia, are holding the international scientific-practical conference «Cultural heritage as the resource of social-economic regional development: Baikal meetings - VIII» within the frameworks of the Year of Culture in the Russian Federation on the 12-14^th September 2014 in Ulan-Ude city and at Lake Baikal (village Enkhaluk)

Guidelines of the conference:

1. Strategy of development of the sphere of culture as the resource of social-economic development.
2. Theoretical-methodological foundations of preserving and using cultural heritage.
3. Effective use of social-cultural resources for the systematic development of the territories.
4. Cultural landscape as the object of heritage and resource of regional development.
5. Objects of cultural and natural heritage as tourist resources.
6. Partnership of heritage and tourism in the regional development.
7. Ethnocultural heritage of the Russian regions in the context of territories’ development.
8. People’s knowledge as the resource of the region and factor of its social-economic development: people’s medicine, technology of various types of production, people’s ecological knowledge, etc.
9. Regional cultural originality in the images of fork art.
10. Creative potential as the strategic resource for the development of the new culture and new art of the ХХI century.
11. Cultural heritage as the strategic resource of the Baikal region in the ХХI century.
12. Actual issues of integration of information resources about the objects of cultural and natural heritage in electronic environment, etc.

For participation in the conference you should send the article to the address of the organizing committee till the 30^th of May 2014.

1. The text should be in Microsoft Office Word in the following format: type - Times New Roman; body text - point 14; interval between lines - 1,5; upper and lower fields - 2 cm; left field - 3 cm, right field - 1,5 cм; indention – 1,25 cm; format А4, orientation – bookish, without transference, without page footnotes, without page numbering.

SUBMISSION GUIDLINES

• Universal Decimal Classification in the left top corner.
• Surname, name, patronymic of the author (authors) and some information about the author (s): scientific degree, academic rank, place of employment, studies (leveling to the centre).
• Title of the article – in capital letters, in bold type, in Russian and English (leveling to the centre).
• Annotation in 5-8 lines after the title of the article (in Russian and English).
• After the annotation – key words, not more than 10 words (in Russian and English).
• Bibliographical references («Notes») should be at the end of the article made in accordance with the State Standard 7.0.5-2008 System of standards on information, librarianship and publishing «Bibliographical reference. General requirements and rules of making (National standard)».
• In the text the note is marked by ordinal figure in square brackets: [5] or [5, c. 22]. Notes in the text are made in continuous numbering.

The publication fee - 150 rubles per page should be deposited to the account, the copy of the receipt is to be submitted to the organizing committee.
